But I do think that Twitter (and social media for that matter) can affect the length of relationships. This is because if my significant other was Tweeting constantly, always checking Facebook and as a result wouldn’t talk to me, I would want to end that relationship. No one wants to have a relationship with someone who is more interested in their social media pages.
